SANTORINI- TOUR OF THE ISLAND-WINE TASTING
Follow us on a journey through time, while trying to unveil the myths and legends of more than 4000 years of History. First stop will be the Monastery of Prophet Elias, one of the oldest monasteries and the highest point of the Island. Our next stop will be a visit to a traditional canava (home-cellar) tasting 3 different types of wines of Santorini. Step on an ancient vineyard and get information for the special “terroir” of Santorini wine and the famous white grape variety. Drive passing the villages of Firostefani and Imerovigli, in order to visit the traditional village of Oia. The most picturesque village of Santorini, holds the position of the most visited spot for sunset viewing, as it provides an excellent view of the well-known sunset, probably the most famous sunset in the world. Free time for shopping or a coffee break and then back to your hotel.
SUNSET PRIVATE CALDERA CRUISE
Sail across Santorini’s beautiful ‘caldera’ (flooded crater) and visit the islands of Nea Kameni and Thirasia on this 6-hour cruise. Board a sightseeing boat from the Athinios port, and admire Santorini’s cliffs and as you cruise to Nea Kameni. Enjoy free time to walk around its volcanic crater & swim in the warm springs. Have dinner on board.
